Filming during the 2006 fest

Well, it's been over a week now, I so guess I should finally say something about this years fest. It was another great year. Some new faces, some old, but cool to hang out with regardless. The biggest difference with this years festival versus the last is that CBS Paramount was there filming. The second season DVD set for the show Twin Peaks has yet to appear, and now that CBS Paramount owns the rights, it looks like it will finally be released. Those that have been waiting over 5 years since the first season release will be happy to here that.

It looks like I may appear in the DVD extras in a couple different sections, so that's quite cool. I wonder how it'll come out. I don't think anyone ever likes what they look or sound like, so I'm sure I'll be no exception. That wouldn't bother me so much if I was, say, in the background, but it appears that I will be the only person in one of the special features! Exciting, yes. Anxiety producing, yes.

Those who remember the first establishing shot from the Twin Peaks pilot might notice it in the image at the start of this post. I was being filmed in various filming locations from the show, talking about each location. I do the 3 hour bus tour of filming locations so I was a natural fit to do it for the Paramount people. Yes, that's the back of my head. No, my hair really isn't THAT red.

When I finally get around to it, I'll be putting my photos up. For now though, Amanda (fellow fest organizer and kick ass chick) has posted her fest pictures up on Flickr.com. Check out Amanda's photos for a glimpse into the fest that was.

Another cool bonus that happened this year was that Jordan (another one of the fest organizers) did an interview with the local newspaper where the fest is held. You can read the article on the fest website. Enjoy.
